It’s now possible to live without breathing!

In a breakthrough research, scientists were able to keep rabbits, with completely blocked windpipes, alive for up to 15 minutes without them taking a single breath!
Researchers at Boston Children's Hospital had injected tiny oxygen-filled micro-particles into the rabbits blood stream and achieved results that could eventually help save many human lives.
Injecting critical patients with micro-particles could prevent heart attacks and brain damage. Micro-particles filled with oxygen bypass the lungs and reach blood in a way that could prevent injuries induced by oxygen deprivation.
Earlier such attempts of injecting oxygen particles had failed but the new method allows oxygen to be injected in liquid form and hence removes the possibility of bubble formation that led to pulmonary embolisms.
